Wilson returned to his hometown of Benton Harbor, MI to kick off the second annual “Night Court” program at the Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor.
“Night Court” at the Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor is intended to keep teens -- ages 13-19 -- off the street, reduce crime and delinquent behaviors, and increase teen’s involvement at the Boys & Girls Club.
During the evening, Chandler gave a few introductory remarks, interacted with the teens, signed playing cards from Panini America, and watched the scrimmages and team draft.
Chandler said, “It is always great to be back in my hometown of Benton Harbor, Michigan. It’s a small town, so I know a lot of the families personally. Anytime I am able to come home, go to the Boys & Girls Club, and help the kids, it puts a smile on my face. I hope I was able to bring a little smile to their faces too. Also, I just want to show them that just because you grew up in a small town doesn’t mean you can’t dream big.”
